What is the original finish of the original wiper arms at the knuckle. Arm has a touch of overspray from a PO attempt to touch something up. Would laquer thinner hurt anything. Would like to save them. These are 68 Tricos.

So the socket end is satin chrome? I don't think laquer thinner should hurt it?
