Does anyone know if the circular warning light was also put on mustangs or just the rectangular one?

i have only ever seen the rectangular version on 65 66 mustangs. -- but that doesnt mean that the round styled warning light couldnt have been fitted to our cars by previous owners who bought them from the service department.

if it was my car the rectangular stlye would be the best choice.

Best regards.

I have the rectangle one on my car (a real one not one of those new LEDs) but I found a circular one and thought it would be kinda cool to have that one as well and change it out when I wanted a new look

  • If it does not fit, you need a bigger hammer!

If you are able to plug in the round one to the 64-66 style lever then I see no reason for it to work. But you can not take a round one out of a box and use it on a mustang as the levers to trigger the warning light are totally diffrent.
