« on: July 31, 2009, 01:15:46 PM »
Wondering what happened with the Mustang documentary that was being done by Tony Bagley & the Speed Channel? It was to have been released around the time of the 45th anniversary.....anyone hear of this?

Sorry was never aware that anyone was working on one - and don't believe I know either of the two names you mentioned.

Good luck with your search

Jeff, Thanks for your reply!! I am a bit surprised that you haven't heard anything about the Documentary......I understand that it was going to be a "History re-written" type thing showing differences between 64.5s, 65s, 66s, and an early pre-production car that was thought to have come from the merry-go-round at the 1964 NY Worlds fair.....may be Charles knows something about the Doc...

This wasn't an online thing was it? Remember (I think it was - so just guessing at a possible connection) the guys that were restoring the "pre production" convertible making claims/suggestions using some of those same phrases. From the post I saw related to those discussions there was IMHO no "rewritting of history" but instead research and new findings we often see when some does a real in depth amount of homework and a "different" type of Mustang or Shelby. Interesting as it always is.

Those involved may just have had a change of plans or things may have cooled down a bit since the original statements.  Just don't know

Just a shot ;)

I don't really know much about it either.  Just heard it mentioned a few times.  Nate probably knows the status.
