6.95x14 US Royal Tires & Styled Steel Wheels Value
« on: June 22, 2014, 12:14:14 AM »
I'm going to buy a set of (4) 6.95x14 US Royal Tires & Styled Steel Wheels.  It's one of those deals I can't pass up. The tires look like they still have the nubs on them.  They are the 5/8" whitewall.  Unfortunately, I need the 7/8" whitewall.  The wheels are likely '68 argent style steel wheels (I haven't seen them in person to get the date codes.). They look pretty decent in the photos.  The trim rings and GT center caps are included.  I'm probably just going to dismount the tires and sell the tires and wheels separately.  I don't have a need for the wheels, and tires are not exactly what I need.  Assuming the tires and wheels are in good condition, what is a fair price?  I'm going to try and attach a photo.  Once I pick them up I post some photos and more details.

I wouldn't buy either the tires or wheels.
Your car appears to be a '66???? may be a '65??

IF you want proper styled steel wheels I would suggest a set of Scott Drake Reproductions in the original size of 14x5

IF you want somewhat proper BIAS PLY tires get a set of the current reproduction (Firestone??) 695x14

US ROYAL only supplied the Dual redlines in '65-'66

I wouldn't buy either the tires or wheels.

I don't think the OP is keeping either, Sounds like he's getting a good price on them and is looking for a value to flip them.
