Title: Rocker Panel Replacement
Post by: scottwo on August 28, 2017, 07:25:57 AM
Does anyone know where I can obtain tips, techniques or a video on changing out a rocker panel, inner and outer. My SCJ project had the rocker panel hit hard many years ago.  I removed the rusted cowl, welded in a cross brace and discovered the inner cowl panel is deformed along with the front outer rocker. I pull a few cross measurements with my tram  from the rear frame to the front rails and found the rear passenger side rail is pushed in towards the center about an inch. Started chipping at the rear rocker and found a bunch of bondo hiding a mess. I may as well start with the rocker.  Once changed, I'm also replacing the firewall and floor.

Thanks
Scott

Thanks for the link, it provided me with a few tips/ideas.
I didn't realize CJ has articles like this one but without your link...I couldn't find it.
