Looking for an illustration of the heat tube(s) connected to a 4300 carb on a '67 289....(hard enough just to find a picture of a '67 with it's original 4300)

Harder to find one with the air cleaner off for a picture ;)
Pre-formed rubber hose connects it to the metal port on the rear of the carb
Sorry don't have a rear shot of that specific spot on a car. Looked through the Ford manual on the carb (sort of an intro to the 4300 for 67) and didn't find a illustration of that

+1 and it looks to also have AC? For whatever reason, the aircleaner stud for the 4300's are not nearly as common to find as the 4100's? :o Just in my experience.. maybe another oddity about these carbs. Rarely do they come up for sale on eBay.

Year ago bought a big stack of NOS 4300's - Not factory rebuilts. Sold a few to restorers and about half (kept a couple of the heck of it) to guys that just wanted to pass the Bi-annual smog checks here in Calif

Hi all, bring up an old thread. I just purchased a choke tube set from NPD for my autolite 4300 equipped 67 A code. I tried installing it this morning to find it is not the correct tube. Double checked numbers to make sure I purchased the right part and it was according to their catalog. It appears that it would fit the hi po with the 4100 carb, but as you know the 4300 tube enters the choke at a completely different angle. Question is, "Does anyone know where to purchase the correct tube? Are others just making their own? Unfortunately I do not have an original to use as a pattern, so I would have to rely on pictures to make one. Car details are in my signature.

Never mind, I figured it out. I purchased the wrong part. NPD's website list the part I purchased as applicable to all 289's. When you look in their paper catalog, it has a note that this part only fits 2v carbs. Wish NPD would add the comment to their website that this part only fits 2v carbs. Sorry to bother everyone.

Sorry took a few days - been setting up a new machine. And no I could not find any additional pictures of related shots from that car.
