Thanks for the pictures Matt.

I did not go this year, but have been to that show in the past. In 2002, my 66 Sprint coupe won a Grand National First in New Bern. That show location has always been one of my favorites. The town layout is perfect for an antique auto show. You can walk to everything, and there is plenty of shade.

I always enjoyed AACA and their shows. My 66 eventually earned a Senior Grand National in Melbourne FL in 2008. In MCA, it has received its grill medalion.

I sold this car to my brother 3 years ago. He now has the car in Ohio. I'm going this week to the Woodward Dream Cruise with him and my old car.

Matt.....did you take a car to New Bern this year?

Hey Kevin.  I drove my 5F07C395128 to the Meet.  It's the blue one amongst the 4 in the class.  I was competing for a Senior and got it.  I received my First Junior at the Louisville Meet last year.  That was my first time in New Bern and like you said was very nice.  New Bern offered a good mixture of a car show and being able to go in the many antique shops to cool off and browse!  Enjoy Detroit and the Cruise and seeing your old car again!

Congrats on your Senior. Your '65 is a beautiful car. I hope to see it in person one day. I still attend some AACA meets, even though I don't have an antique car to show at this time. I currently have a 2009 Mustang GT/CS that I show in regional shows.

My brother also had "our" car in Louisville in 2015. He received a Repeat Preservation award.
