Title: Correct door handle position
Post by: HomerJay on February 28, 2017, 06:10:10 PM
Hi folks,
I'm wondering what the correct door handle position is on 67 standard Interior.
Saw some mounted straight forward and some mounted in  a 45 degree upward position.

Thanks Homer

Unfortunately I don't have a copy handy but pretty sure the assembly manual shows how each it "clocked"

My assembly manual is at the shop but I know on a 67 standard interior the door handle points down. I think about 30 degrees. On a deluxe interior it points upward.

67 Fastback...looked better to me but if you are "judged", you can bet there will at least be mention of this detail on your score sheet ;)
