Title: 1968 standard steering wheel material
Post by: T5owner on September 01, 2014, 10:19:47 AM
I searched the forum, but could not find the exact material of the 1968 standard steering wheel. Is it Bakelite or hard solid-color plastics. Somewhere else I read it was injection molded.
I tend to believe it is the hard solid colored injection molded plastics, right or wrong?

Thank you. Would you consider this still restorable?

I have a number of small holes on the backside. I guess, a PO had drilled them for a wrap around cover material.

Looks restorable to me. I only see one crack.
