Had found after hard searching another pair. And asked a well known member here in this forum for support to buy them . What did this nice guy do? He bought them for himself! Great!  :-X Of course he is not answering my pm's anymore...
The person who sells the pair above will not ship to me, even I said the parts can be shipped to Troy (MI) to a friend of mine and  takes care for shippment to GER.
So, I'm still looking to find a reliable person helping me. May be smb even gonna sell his pair to me.
Thx
Ralf

I live in Oregon, The KPR add is gone. You said you was looking to pay only $350.00 and he wanted $500.00.  I will look around for another set. I have no problem shipping to MI for you. Your going to have to up your price to the $500 range. I sold my last set for that price plus shipping.

I did not say anything on pricing to him, not at all. I was only asking what his minimum price will be, but not mentioned any number.

I'm ok with around 500 + shipping.

Thx for looking around.

Pls pm to me, because I made the bad experience that here are some guys around taking their advantage of searched results provided by others (in this case by me who would buy it).

Ralf: Why don't you take one step and one person out of the process by having your friend in Troy, Michigan buy them for you and ship them to you? This way you don't need an intermediary between the seller and your friend the shipper.  That just seems simpler to me.

You're absolutely right.
However, in this specific case on craiglist seller, it is obvious that he will not ship the parts thousands of miles....
The reason why I'm asking for help here.

I've a source to buy rocker moldings (US).
How to detect if these are real NOS parts? Any stamped numbers inside (except on the assembled front fender clip with C7  XXX on, but not a proof for the moldings itself)?
What could be the evidence?
Unfortunately I can not touch the parts to feel the difference.....too far away ;-)
Thx Ralf

There are no marks or numbers that I am aware of. The appearance or sealed packaging is your only clue.

The "crimped in" Front Fender Clip may provide a clue, although I'm not familiar with what is being offered for this in the Repo's. As has been mentioned in other threads, this Clip is part of the Rocker Panel Moldings, and not considered one of the included "Attaching Parts".
