need info on my gas tank

restoring my 70 mach 1 from n.j and the gas tant looks like crap .i want to replace it but all the pics i see for the ones for sale do not show some  kind of breather plug on the top of it . no.1 whats is it and were kind i buy one that is a good repleica

Unless your car was original sent to Calif I'm not sure what "breather cap" your describing.

Here is a 49 state example




No one reproduces the Calif style that I'm aware of
