On my June 67 C code there are two holes, upper & lower (L side) that may be the fastening point for the engine ground strap.

I can't get a clear picture w my old phone camera.. Engine is in.
I'd appreciate any picture of the strap mounted on firewall.
TY,
Joe

Attached is a very poor picture of the attaching point of a July 67 Metuchen coupe - C code.  Looks like the screw is just below where the harness strap attaches.  Surprising that I do not have any other pictures of this area.

Added another shot with the ground strap removed...looks like it is around 10:00 o'clock from the harness strap lug.

Remember that this ground strap was added later - after the firewall sealant was applied. It was attached to the engine assembly originally first then attached after installation.

Should have a picture of the firewall end of the ground Hopefully it will be from a NJ example

Guess your asking about a non-AC application - correct?

Only found five. Can't be sure of the head marking on the attachment screw. might be the one with the single dot in the center but can't be sure from these pictures

Hope this helps

Bent  :(

Pulled loose when they yanked the engine  but shows location and hardware
