Topic: Phosphate Coated Items 69 Mach 1

Forgive me if I have overlooked this but I have looked. I've got a Dearborn built 69 Mustang Mach 1 that I am restoring. I was wondering if there is a comprehensive list of items that were phosphate coated on my car. I believe the hood springs, hinges, latch assembly and the shock tower caps were all phosphate coated. Anything else?

Not that I'm aware of. This sort of product comes out of a need that is discovered and answered by someone in need and in turn (after peer review and discussion) benefits the hobby and inspires others to take up similar projects for their year, make and plant.

A starting list could likely be gleaned from the MCA judging rules or sheets if you have access to those.

There's a starting point list ( question 1b ) based on assembly plant in the 69/70 FAQ's at the top of the page of topic threads that could be expanded to include some of the items you mentioned.
