hi all, how can i clarify if my bonnet hinges are genuine or repo? they have a number and lettering starting with OB and then numbers after that

That sounds to be correct, and the numbers are likely the date code. A picture would be ideal.  I'm sure folks will likely want to know the build date of your car, plant it was built, etc...

What do the rivets look like on the outside surface?  Your looking for a X pattern

As far as the markings yes the OB is one fo the suppliers that San Jose used during 1966 production around the time your car was assembled. On the other side of the arm you will likely find another smaller number that I believe is the worker or inspector mark
