I am getting to the part where I work on wheels and tires.  The prior owner painted the wheels argent and put on trim rings and center caps.  NPD shows chrome with black rims.  Is this correct or where they all chrome and no trim rings?  Also, does anyone know how chrome powdercoat with clear coat comes out.  It will make the difference of buying new wheels or working with the old ones.  Thanks

Original syled steel wheels are chrome centers with black rim that are riveted together and stainless trim rings.  Not sure how chrome powder coating would look....but I imagine it could never look as good as actual chrome.  Depends on what you want to do with the car you are working on.

I will post some in the coming days.  I have just completed my front suspension, brakes and steering with rebuilt or new.  I'm moving to stripping the interior and sending it to a shop in Lakeland, Florida for resto paint job.  My pics I will post will be "Marie" with a lot more to do.
