C7ZE-Z1 radiator date code

preaction:
I have a C7ZE-Z1 radiator which is a 67 4 speed big block part and looking at the date code it is stamped 8AD, 1968, January, 4th week, would this being used as a service replacement part account for the date seeing how the lower mounting points changed for 68 ?

Could be a service part or maybe that style was used into '68 production also?
