390 fan
« on: February 14, 2013, 06:30:04 AM »
Hi, just wondering what size and type of engine fan is standard on a 67 mustang  390 gt with a/c?
How many blades and what inch? Is it a cluch or solid fan?
Cheers

It would be a clutch fan with five blades. I do not know the diameter with out looking it up. I'll look later.

My data (which could be wrong) shows it to be 7 blade 18 1/4" C6OE F

Resurrecting an old thread. Does anyone know if there is a decent repop of this fan? I have looked the usual places and cannot seem to find it....6 blade seems to be popular Mansfield lists it as a 6 blade, which could be an error. WCCC has been out of stock for a while. Any help locating a source is appreciated.

I might have one, PM me and I will look when I get home tonight. Include any details you need to have stamped into it. (date, engineering numbers)

As far as I know, the only 390/428CJ reproduction fans are for 1968, C8OE-B, and 1969, C9ZE-E. Both 7 blade and high quality.
