Braved the rain and checked out the show.  Impressed there was the turn out there was today.  However, disappointed mother nature didn't cooperate on the one day i was able to attend.  Asked and was told the rare car tent didn't set up today :(.  Was able to check out some vendors but most cars didn't show and those that did were under covers or shut up tight.  Cool to see 100001 before they covered it and also the 2015 prototype.  Also enjoyed that the rain didn't stop the open track event.  Tried to check out the limited swap meet vendors that were brave enough to show, but at that point in the day we were significantly soaked through and chilly.  We called it at that point and headed back north.  The rain was relentless.  :/

Too bad you had bad info on that.  The Rare Cars tent was "open" and occupied all day on Saturday.  Heck, it was the only dry car viewing place around!

Jim, don't know if you got my text, but your Grande there looked fantastic.    With the magazines on the back seat, it's ok to be "that guy". :-)

The rare cars tent was one of my favorite parts of the Charlotte show.  I just wish I had been able to get a t-shirt!!  This was hands down the best display at the show, IMO.
Too much junk, too little time.

Ha ha, well if you got it, flaunt it!  :D  The weather really spoiled my socializing plan so I'm sorry we didn't get together longer.

Scott - it was much better with the spring relaxed.  Not "fixed", but better.  Thanks for the steady flashlight  ;D

In many ways a benefit since it reduced the number of spectators off the street and participants with those 5 gallon buckets everyone was carrying around inside the raceway ;)

Yep - paved surface was slopped so the run off from the tent made most of the pavement inside the tent wet also.

Could have been worst - no tent ;)
