Does anyone on here know an abundance about Rancheros or know of someone who does?

Check with the Fairlane and Torino forum thing that will be your best shot. Just not as many Ranchero's around as El Camino's. Think I've had maybe 10 over the years.

Used a 71 GT with shaker as my daily driver and parts chaser during the 80's. Bought and sold a 69 428CJ one to a friend in NZ to tow his Mustangs around with. And did have an original paint 71 429 CJ ram air one for a few months - friend I sold that one to had a kid who totaled it three weeks later.

Sons got a 72 Q code one with factory power windows and console that he may finish one of these days

Good luck with your search

Im in the same boat as original post. trying to learn about and source parts for my 71 429 Thundejet ranchero is difficult at times,  its a head turner to say the least and to the un-educated its a El-camino.....  no way man

people often tell me well just use mustang parts or torino parts they are all the same.  not what I wanted to hear.

good luck with your search.
