The poor resolution and limited photos make it is hard to make a definitive conclusion based on the photos by themselves but what with one of the worst repro tags I have ever seen and eluding to the rebody in the description I would bet where there is smoke there is fire .More pictures of the underside side and close ups in the engine bay should tell the tale.
Just my 2 cents, but if "documented originals" bring twice the asking price and seller states "you, be the judge"...I would have to play Sherlock Holmes here and say by deductive reasoning, NOT an original
I've read it within forums how people go to great lengths to achieve authentic looking clones. As Bob said, "where there is smoke..." it isn't just burning rubber.
Nonetheless, a real nice looking example and if I wanted one at 1/2 price, might be a consideration to have it insected to know the "Paul Harvey"
