Ink stamped (silk screened) yellow top coils for a '67
« on: July 31, 2014, 07:47:21 PM »
Jack at Dead Nuts On used to have these, but not anymore.  Anyone know of a supplier who is doing these now?
I don't always downshift, but when I do it is near a Prius so they can hear me hurting the environment.

There is a Fairlane guy that will do them now I belive - will find the site.

Local friend that use to do them (with the original fonts)  stopped doing them a while back.

They are a pain to stamp and often (even originally) do show the stamp slipping a bit so not always perfect ;)

Ok here is a lead- Don't believe I know the person and have never used the services but I hope they can help you.

Really don't want to get into the biz of stamping these ;)

Dave refinished two coils for me. I've been very happy with the results.

Has anybody ever used JD from All Classic Motors in N. Dakota?

 www.allclassicmustang.com

Lots of NOS & Refirbished, various date codes available, and I'm looking at a screen printed (not a sicker) yeller top for my car he has available. (I have a couple other ones with "dings" in them too.
Much more reasonable on the coils than at the 427 Galaxie registry site, just wondering how they look to the "pros" and "judges" if anyone knows.

Also tons of parts for most any needs.

Here is the coil he did for me.  It looks great, and I assume the stamp location, clocking, etc. is correct.

Slightly off topic, I watched "The Road Warrior" tonight and Mad Max had a yellow top coil mounted under his car as part of his "security" device - the KaBooom type. Could not see the marking though.
