What's the correct finish for that bracket? Plated, galvanized, painted?

Thanks.

Hello,

I thought the same thing when I first read the request for pictures but after re-reading, I believe the request is of the one at the lower end of the splash shield, going over to the fender.

That's not for the splash shield but for the fender
Thanks for the other picture

Does anyone have a shot with it mounted in place?

I am clearly lost here  :o
Is there a bracket that holds the rear splash shield?
I thought that the splash shield was held directly in place, with screws and no bracket?
in attachment the rear splash shield still in place.
When it is not these pictures you're searching for, let me know, than I'll delete this post.
kind regards,
Jeroen

Here is a pic of the installed bracket from an unaffiliated  site on the 'net.

Richard we all find this site at different levels of skill and knowledge. We can all learn different things from each other.

When I built my first car I was sure that there was none better. When I look at it now I just shake my head, it could have been so much better.

Oh if I only had my present knowledge when I had a 20 year old body! ;D

It was tough to find a pic that showed this detail. The seam sealer is not ideal, but heh.
It's just a picture from the 'net and since I knew it was not up to concours, I left the attribution
untitled and copied the pic rather linking to it directly.

I can see why some people think it's a bracket to the shield as it's part of the stack up.

I can see why some people think it's a bracket to the shield as it's part of the stack up.

That and the original title of this thread leads some to that conclusion.  Might have been better described as the front fender lower bracket since splash shield lead many of us to look for things used to attach the splash shield as found in other years and applications
