Title: 67 Front Brake Hose Clips
Post by: bhoulis on September 25, 2017, 07:49:42 AM
Are the AMK front brake hose clips correct for a 67. March 22, San Jose, disc brakes? The ones I took off have the raised tab running all the way across the clip, while the AMK ones have a raised tab that is shorter, only about 2/3 the width of the clip. Also what should the correct finish be? Thanks. Brian

All of the originals that I have seen have the tab running all the way across. IMO they were phosphate and oil finish. If your originals are not too badly pitted I would have them replated.

+1, originals I have seen have a 'P' stamped into the middle of the edge that shows when installed.
