Spare from my '65
« on: August 15, 2017, 11:48:57 AM »

I'm not sure what to do with this....

In the trunk and mounted to a rim was a spare for my '65. It appears to be unused, and possibly original to the car. This could be a good find for you concours types which my car will never be. I have removed it from the rim, and Replaced it with an up to date spare.

It's a "Fisk" tire made in Canada.
4NU5737 is stamped on the side wall, as well as "DOT167"

It's a 6.95-14 4 PLY

My '65 was produced in Dearborn, but shipped to Canadian D.S.O 81. Should explain the Canadian tire.

Thoughts?

it's not the original spare. originals had no DOT markings and Fisk was an aftermarket supplier.
