Title: Transmission Crossmember Hardware
Post by: ChrisV289 on January 08, 2018, 10:44:56 AM
Jim or Jeff, can you confirm the hardware used in the crossmember? I can't pull the excel sheet at this time. I took  mine out and I have two long bolts each with a lock washer and nut. The amk kit sold by npd and Virginia mustang have the same except only have one regular washer, not a lock one and only one. Why only one?

The washer is used on the slotted hole.  No lockwasher - lock nuts instead.  Picture below - disregard the extra flat washer shown.

For future reference, that mount is referred to by Ford as the rear engine mount.
