Title: Headliner date- 67
Post by: 67gta289 on January 09, 2018, 11:02:00 AM
I don't think I posted this yet (I did check), but here is a picture of the date code I found on the back side of my headliner.  This is an overhead console care which accounts for the shading.

Aug 66 compared to Dec 66 build date.  Light blue as part of the two tone blue interior.

Not sure what the T  E  X represents.

There were no other markings.

While I'm at it, I can document the headliner bow colors for my fastback:

1. Front - purple
2. Middle - green
3. Rear - pink

Interesting. Mine only lists a date code of K6, close for my SJ car.

I also show those same colors on the bow.

SMS Auto Fabrics has a really accurate and pricey headliner.
It looks very close considering the small swatch they sent me.

Possibly a material manufacturer date, not necessarily anything related to when the headliner or car was made.  I have some rolls of NOS vinyl that have manufacturer markings and date code.
