Title: 390 Engine Rebuild Specs Book
Post by: carguytroy on February 07, 2018, 11:48:18 PM
Found an engine here locally that matches up with the car. Now I need to start checking things out. What would be a good resource, book or whatever to buy, that will give me engine specs, tolerances etc for rebuilding my 67 390?

How To Rebuild Your Big Block Ford Engines by Steve Christ is what I have had in my reference library for decades. There are others . https://www.amazon.com/dp/0895860708/   .

+1 On that whole HPBooks series. Have also had copies of that one, the small block one and the 385 series since the early 80's

I also have had Steves book from what seems like the mid 80's but never knew or herd of him outside of his book, does anyone know of his connection to FE's ?
