Set of 4 Goodyear Polyglas F70-14 raised white letter tires (with size).  These are originals date coded 1973/74.. They are not repros.   2 of them have never been driven on and still have printing & nubs on the tread.  The other 2 have maybe 50 miles on them. Of these 2,  one is perfect but unfortunately the other has some damage to the lettering.  They are mounted on a set of 14x7 ford steelies.. Not sure what they are from but they look like early 70's ford.  Tires have no dry rot and hold air,  no bubbles or bulges.  Price drop to $1400.   My  name is Jim and I am located in the Detroit area.  More pics on request

This was more or less what I was looking for.

However, the problem is the age of the tires, at least here in Germany.

Cars have to be checked by legal law every 2 years by our "TÜV" (technical car check) organisation. Not having this stamp on the number plate- car can not be used in public areas.

Tires older than 8 - 10 years are not allowed to run anymore. Reason: Porosity (too dangerous).

Beside that , guess your tires became really hard rubber due to their age.

What about in the US?

Thx Ralf

These tires are over 40 years old and are really intended for a trailered show car... For street usage , Ralf, you would want a set of new repros.

Ralf, if you are looking for tires for your 67, the Goodyear would not be correct.  Firestone wide oval with a white stripe, bias ply, would be correct.

+1, not correct.

That is true but back in '78, the very first set of tires I put on my 67 were ones just like these...They do look AWESOME on the 67's! Too bad they wear out so fast though ;) I think I got a little over two years out of mine...maybe I was "rotating" them the wrong way ;)  :o  ::)
