Rear Window Defroster

Took my '08 GT coupe out today on a cold morning and the rear defroster wasn't working. Two years ago I re-bonded one of the rear window feed wire terminals that had come detached, using the Permatex product made for this purpose. (related 2015 thread: http://www.concoursmustang.com/forum/index.php?topic=10035.0).  That fixed the problem then; and both feed wires are still intact today.  The dash rear defroster switch indicator illuminates like it's supposed to.  I've done some quick research and there's a mini-relay in the owners manual schematic to track down and possibly check.  That's about as far as I've gotten today.
Any experience out there with this symptom?
