Body Color Change
« on: December 15, 2009, 01:11:49 AM »
What is the mandatory points deduct for a body color change in concours driven and trailered classes?
Thanks,
Rick

No the lack of orange peel would be in addition. The 20 if for deductions related to the color not matching what the cars door tag shows.

Jeff,
I know some 70 models the guys would just order a new door tag to match the new color and would not get a deduct right?

Yes MCA judges compare the door tag to the exterior color to determine the points in those areas of the judging sheets

Is the Marti going to be used now to determine what the car should be in those classes?

I would guess that some time in the future we will be using them, (other clubs currently are using the Marti's or other documentation)  Just my opinion
