AC Compressor Tag 67
« on: December 24, 2017, 04:17:48 AM »
Hi, Would like to ask how to dismantle the AC tag. Would like to avoid to destroy anything.

Thx
Ralf

A very small socket will screw them out if they are high enough. If they too short I put several layers of tape around them and use a duck bill pliers. Worst case drill a hole in them and use a easy out.

I have a tag the red ink is all gone. I have just a tag with the stampings in it. What is the best way to reproduce the RED ink stamping of this tag? Do the artwork, save to file and then what? I have no skill-set on making such things from scratch but it seems it gets done all of the time.

I have a similar request for stampings on my Thermactor hoses but that is another topic but possibly follows the same/similar process.
