'86 a/c vacuum solenoid??
« on: September 29, 2012, 01:29:22 PM »
The a/c on our '86 only blows out of the defrost vents. I have been told that there is a vacuum solinoyd behind the glove box door that is most-likely the problem......anyone know where I can get one??

It's probably something relating to the vacuum solenoids that operate your blend doors.  I think when they go bad it defaults to defrost.  Either you have a vacuum leak or the solenoid that operates the blend door has gone bad.  Try searching Rockauto.com.
