Roof Side Rail
« on: March 29, 2014, 08:51:48 PM »
Looking through Virginia Mustang and NPD and cannot find the stuff that goes in-between the side rail molding and the body.  It is like a foam/rubber material.  There are remnants of it left on my friend's 66 Coupe and I restored a 69 GTO and there was stuff in between there as well.  Does anyone know what it is called or what page it is on in either catalog?

Thanks,
Chris

Don't know that any of the reproduction resellers handle the stuff. Often to get the right width you have to double up on the two sided foam tape.

Think I last used 3M - not cheap but you can check your local paitn supply store (auto paints ;)
