Title: Driveshaft Slip Yoke Repair

My original C5AW-4868-A driveshaft slip yoke has groves caused from the oil seal. Otherwise in very nice shape. Concern there could be a fluid leak. C4 trans

Any ideas? Anyone possibly have a nice used one?

I have heard that they can be sleeved.  I would imagine a machine shop could make this happen, but I don't know how this would affect the original appearance.

I've used a speedie sleeve to repair worn shafts etc like that but the problem here would be the potential distance of travel of the shaft through the oil seal. the seal might get damaged moving over the end of the sleeve.
all speedie sleeves I've seen and used would not be long enough, a long one would be great but the end of the sleeve would be noticeable, I guess a small deduction in any judging but worth it to retain an original part like that ?

The yoke is common enough relatively speaking that sourcing another used one is the most prudent thing to do IMO.

Kinda my thoughts too so I mentioned I would consider that and now have a "Wanted Ad" seeking one also.
