Title: '66 289 distributor C4, 4V and smog
Post by: socalgt on June 16, 2017, 07:03:50 PM
The Mustangtek website is a little confusing on the original distributor for a '66 289, 4V, C4 and smog.  Perhaps C6VF 12127 B?  (They use a CE symbol, which I'm not familiar with, unless it's a missprint)

Not sure exactly where that is...I entered the subject in the search bar....does that not get the same results?

When you log on, the Library Section appears between the "Non-Mustang Ford & Mercury Models" and the "Marketplace" above the bottom of the page.

Yeah, I'll have to get a mirror and try and look for it tonight when I get home :-[. Can't believe I missed that!

Ok, thanks to my wife's little mirror in her purse, we have a new number: C6ZF 12127 B with a 5LC date code....nice, clear, deeply stamped "B"...time for some new reading glasses. Thanks Jeff for keeping me honest and accurate!
