Quarter Glass Boomerang Chrome
« on: May 25, 2017, 01:11:10 AM »
Could I get someone to take measurements of their Boomerang Chrome running from the drip rail down? I'm in the process of prepping for paint and we want to make sure they are sitting correctly. They start at the top with a larger gap and move down getting closer and then back out a little before they make the complete curve right? The question is, how close do they get to the side of the quarter panel? If we need to make adjustments, we will. Thanks for any help!

If your asking where the lower portion of the ' rang 'sits ?  I think if you follow the sheetmetal you will be alright.  This example is from my car and that is the OE weatherstrip.  Brian

FYI the "concours" made from original tooling repros are a bit narrower than the originals and leave a gap between the trim and weatherstrip.
