When my car came apart there was was a cardboard strip that ran along the roof near the top of the back glass and underneath the headliner. Of course I can't find it now and sadly, I can't find a replacement. Does anyone know a.) what would be the correct part description b.) what it was for and c.) are they reproduced anywhere?

Thanks.

I have not seen this part reproduced or even for sale used. I am not sure what there purpose was other than to give the metal cover something to rest on. I have seen them on 67s but am not sure if they were used on 68s. I would get some 1/8 Masonite and make one.

The 67 assembly manual calls it a tack strip. It is not shown in the 68 assembly manual so must have not been needed.
