Restoring a vinyl top
« on: September 24, 2010, 09:05:44 PM »
Have a '68 w/vinyl top that appears orginal.  It is in very good condition, but is a bit faded in spots, a few small scuffs.  Going to keep it unmolested for a while and use it as a driver, but want to spruce it up a bit.

What prodcuts are recommended to get the color back on to an old faded top?

Try to stay away from anything with silicon in it. That being said look for some tinted top dressing for a start. Always test it on a smaller area before you do the complete top
