70 Boss 302 w/Tach Oil Sender
« on: December 11, 2012, 04:59:12 PM »
On a 70 Boss 302 with a tach and oil light what did they use? Was it the standard extension with a sender or the hose style that went up to the head?

And if they take the standard style extension was it the steel version or the shorter aluminum style?

Since you already reported its a tach /idiot light car that question is covered. So .....

Is it a PS or non- PS car?

All effect the answer ;)

Thanks - my understanding - for a 70 Boss with a tach (idiot light oil pressure light only) and no PS the car would have normally received the small (not the large zinc dichromated bell shaped sending unit) sort of stubby, flat sending unit that would have attached directly to the block with no extension

Like this example - sorry really had to crank up the picture to make out the sending unit
