Hi guys
Where the standard lug nuts on the 65/66 Mustangs somehow coated?
Or where they just plain steel? How should i thread them to have
them as original as possible. I allready sand blasted them.
Thanks Jerry

Believe they were plated with cadium originally - a common coating at the time

The C0AZ-1012-A standard lugs that I used to sell over the counter at the Ford store were definitely clear cad.
