Title: Rear window defroster

2008 Premium GT Coupe

Any advice on what adhesive is required, to reglue the wire that feeds the rear window defroster heating element?

ford sells a repair kit just for that. it is $$$. i did a google search and came up with a permatex product for a lot less and it worked just fine. sorry i don't have the product # handy.

Follow-up

I used the Permatex product and so far the repair is holding and defroster works again.

That's exactly what you need.  Am Adhesive with conductive properties.  Chalk another one up for Permatex!

Yes, very appealing design, the 2005-2009 body.  This black GT has Ford Racing Performance Parts lowering springs, which drops the car 1.5" for a more aggressive and aesthetic look, many would say.
