Title: Beautiful 1976 Mustang Cobra II - Blue with White Stripes - 16,000 Miles
Post by: 79mustangcobra on June 23, 2016, 12:01:02 PM
I love this car.  It does not have a V8, but who cares.  I would love to see this at MCA events

Sweet looking car! Good to see a II getting some love!

Note: the photo you posted will disappear when the ad is closed, since it's linked from Hemmings and not uploaded directly to CMF.

I didn't know the Cobra II was available with a V6. I don't know why anyone would want one. Kinda like the guy with all the leathers and Harley tatoos who rides a Spree. I've owned about 8 IIs, one was a Cobra and one a Mach1, both 302s.

Good point, I corrected this.  Thanks

The V6 was actually the standard engine in the Cobra II. You could either upgrade to the 302 V8 or even special order the 4 cylinder if you wanted. I have seen at least one 4 cylinder for sale over the years.

Might want to  gab those pictures and post them to the tread so that viewers in the future can make use of the information. If not the link will be of little use in a short amount of time. In this case believe that "fair use" applies since they were posted publically, don't carry a copy write warning no water mark, and were posted/intended for public viewing and use.

To add to Jeff's statement, the most permanent way to include the photos is by either using the "Attachments" button when composing a post, or to upload them into a user gallery here on CMF and then post a link. Your link to a Photobucket image is better than the original link to the Hemmings site, but those photos will disappear if you close your Photobucket account or if they ever go out of business. Posting directly to CMF ensures that the photos will remain as long as CMF does.
