2015 Anniversary model
« on: January 13, 2015, 10:38:20 PM »
Stopped by a Ford dealer in Indiana and saw this anniversay model
with this covering on it, maybe they all came this way from Ford?
Salesman said it was sold as soon as it came in.

Shopping around are we Steve?

How long is the wait once you've ordered?  ;)

Wish I was buying one!
I think for the most part they have all been sold already
unless a dealer has one marked up very high.
They were just building 1,964 of them, only one was a convertible.

Dealership here in AZ has a $25k market value adjustment added to the car....Should change the name to "dealer greed",

What a joke, for that much more you're half way into a decent restoration in a 50 year old one...

The word down under is the '15 GT's will start around $60k Aussie dollars, I think that's Shelby money for you guys...

DOM.

I find the rumour of the $60K aud a little hard to swallow

I have already priced up a 2015 GT convertible premuim with my own specs and the window sticker price came to $52K usd.......... and without any "dealer greed"

with no shipping, exchange rates, luxury car tax and alike... I still believe my spec car will be $80-85K++ aud

so if the suggested ford Australian price is $60K aud im betting that is a v6 coupe absolute base model

time will tell. There was a report that FORD Australia has taken over 200 orders to date for 2015-16 mustangs, with report of money already being requested by some dealers.

Phill, so much for the affordable Pony car...

Don't believe we're getting the V6 here, rather the 2.3L I4 Ecoboost, which would probably make it one of the most expensive 4 cylinders on the market...

Has your dealer requested any money yet  ;)

I think FORD Australia is in real bad shape here and whatever they do with the mustang will be interesting to sit back and watch.

no dealer here will be getting $$$ out off me anytime soon as they cant even tell me what they intend to bring to Australia let alone options and extras and prices. are they going to be sold at all ford dealers of just ones that are FPV sellers at present.

the anniversary edition I saw at Charlotte 50TH was awesome and really impressed me but there is no way I can see someone getting hold of one here in Australia especially when there is the dealer greed attached.  then with in the announcement of a 350 and a 350R you can imagine the price range here well over $100K aud. present 2014-15 examples here sell for $100K+ now

I personally think the next Ford New car for me will be the new F150.
