66 Metuchen Washer Motor Wire
« on: October 30, 2017, 07:46:01 PM »
Doing a little clean up of my engine bay this past weekend I replaced the single speed wire for my washer Pump. I removed the original wire which was fed through the immediate hole above the headlight harness. It had been run through either a separate grommet or a plug that had been hollowed out to keep the grommet in place due to the hole being larger than the grommet can accommodate. Ive read through the other threads but haven't come up with a solid answer. It appears as though the washer motor possibly was added after leaving the factory? Would another hole been made the proper size elsewhere if factory equipped?

I have seen a larger grommet used there, it's not necessarily been modified.
