67 Spare Tire & Jack Storage "MARK" on Jack
« on: July 26, 2022, 04:07:32 PM »
See attaching image of Jack Storage Decal, it mentions: "1. OPEN JACK ASSEMBLY UNTIL MARK IS VISIBLE ON INNER LINK AND LAY FLAT ON FLOOR WITH BASE AGAINST TAPERED WALL"

Where's the "MARK"?

Thanks for pointing that out. I still am unclear as far why the need for the mark mention in the illustration given the other directions .  Even if you disregard the written copy as long as it is stowed the same way as illustrated you should be fine . FYI most typically the lug wrench head ,and at least a portion of the shaft along with the two steel zinc plated washers were unpainted and the nylon washer sandwiched between was unpainted also .
