group 27 battery option?

did any boss 302's come with the hd grp 27 battery as per the 428 cj's  or was the grp 24 battery the only optional battery installed  from factory and grp 22 battery the std

Sounds like a question for Kevin Marti to research.  Checked my copies of marti reports and buildsheets and could not find an example for you... Up grade for the Boss (Heavy duty) would have been the Grp 24 like the 351 and 302 cars. Few examples of those... normally AC equipped cars. Can't see a need or purpose of a heavier battery in the front end of a Boss 302 ;)
