Title: new mustang
Post by: Bill Cabaniss on March 02, 2010, 09:31:45 AM
Last saturday I bought my wife a new mustang convertible,v6 premium package, pony package, and a nav. system. Since I am a first generation guy I know nothing about newer mustang accessory vendors. I would appreciate it if someone here could list trusted web sites or vendors for late model accessories. Thanks, Bill.

I'm not really into the new Mustangs either, but for accessory vendors Mustangs Unlimited and Classic Design Concepts as well as Roush are reputable vendors that are well established. They all have accessories for the current generation of Mustang.

I went to books a million and bought a magazine for late model mustangs. It had alot of the advertisers that you mentioned in it. I will check them out. There are alot of accessories for the new cars for sure. Thanks for the reply roadrunner. Bill.

I have an 05, there are a ton of vendors out there.  Some I would recommend would be SilverHorse Racing, American Muscle

Thanks for the responses. I will be looking in Pensacola next week for new mustang accessories, and a few first generation ones too. We purchased a new front end bra from Ford last week. Fits really tight and looks good too. Does take a little while to install it, but there is no danger of it coming off either. Bill.

Congrats on the new purchase. As some of the others said, American Muscle is a good resource. Another favorite of mine for late model is Late Model Restoration Supply (http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/Mustang).

Silverhorse racing is actually literally right down the block from me here in Melbourne, FL.. They are great folks. They are the leader in CNC machined billet parts for '05 and up.. Check them out on the web...

I have recently purchased a padded roll bar from american muscle for my wifes 2010 convertible. Gave it to her for her birthday!! Buying car parts for my wifes birthday was truly a first for me. She loved it!! The installation was less than an hour. The roll bar looks as if it came on the car. it is a great fit and looks great also. Bill.
