Title: '66 GT brake push rod
Post by: BBpony on October 05, 2009, 08:54:35 PM
Does anyone know if they make a replacement "O" ring for the end of a brake master calendar push rod? When I took my push rod out to rebuild my master calendar of course the old "O" ring broke.  I hate to buy the replacement adjustable push rod if I don't have to.  I realize you don't have to have it but thought I would ask.

Sorry to break into this question so after answering his here is another,my 66 gt built 12-18-65 in Metuchen has a brake push rod without the rounded bulb on the end, just a flat faced expanded tip.Someone else installed a new reproduction master cylinder and the push rod went in so far the pedal went almost to the floor before stopping the car.I put a homemade spacerin the cylinder bore to correct and had forgot about it until this question jogged my memory.Would anyone happen to know what is correct and maybe have pictures?I know a lot to ask,but any expert help invaluable. Thanks
