Clear 65-66 Tail Light Lenses?
« on: February 23, 2018, 05:36:48 PM »
Has anyone ever seen any of these before? A buddy has had them sitting on a shelf for years. Have all the Factory [FoMoCo] numbers molded into them. They are not faded, they seem to have been molded this way.

It's entirely possible that they were created for use in other countries that required the need for certain color bulbs by law that had to be used.  Certain European countries for example use Yellow bulbs for part of the taillight lenses I believe....Argentina used to be one of them for example.

They are indeed rare...if they are indeed Original Ford.   Today, There are other foreign companies that reproduce '65-'66 lenses with Yellow color moulded right into parts of the lens.
