First Generation Bumper Guards and Parking Lights
« on: November 29, 2009, 10:50:48 PM »
I am wondering if their is going to be a rule notation in the Early Front Bumper Guards.   As we have found out that the Early Front bumper Guards are wider, different shape and no place for the rubber bumper I am wondering if it will be noted in the rules.  I have just aquired another late april build car with the early bumper guards.  Or will it be a point deduction  because according to the rules the bumper guards must contain the rubber bumpers.    Also I am wondering about a rule notation with the early parking lights with the external ground that is also seen as late the first week of april before the ground became part of the harness.  any light on these unique early car features would be much appreciated

Nate: It would be best to contact Mike Murray directly about this.

I have also found the same type of bumper guards on an original pace car coupe with a late April scheduled build date.

The biggest difference is there is no tab to hold the little rubber bumper inside the top of the bumper guards.  Nate probably has a pic.
